The Training Center

Sochi International Airport Training Center has been operating since October, 2015. In the Center, the airport staff can improve their skills. The Training center staff consists of qualified and experienced teachers.

The experts may complete training in the following areas:

  • The refresher course for the employees, appointed as persons in charge for ensuring transport security at a transport infrastructure facility;
  • The refresher course for the employees of a transport infrastructure facility, transport security unit, managing the works, directly associated with ensuring transport security of a transport infrastructure facility and/or the means of transport;
  • The refresher course for the employees, included into the rapid response team;
  • The refresher course for the employees, performing security check, supplementary security check, repeated security check in order to ensure transport security;
  • The refresher course for the employees, performing supervision and/or profiling in order to ensure transport security;
  • The refresher course for the other employees of a transport infrastructure facility, transport security unit, performing the works, directly associated with ensuring transport security of a transport infrastructure facility and/or the means of transport;
  • The refresher course for the employees, directly performing aircraft de-icing on ground;
  • The refresher course for the employees of the ground cargo handling operators and agents, carrying out acceptance of dangerous cargo;
  • The refresher course "Training of the staff to service persons with reduced mobility."

The Center's Structure

The academic staff

Ms. Victoria Alexandrovna Shapovalenko, Aviation and Transportation Security teacher. She commenced her career in 1991 in Sochi International airport, Federal State Unitary Enterprise as an aviation security inspector. During her career, she rose through the ranks from an inspector to become the head of the AvSec inspection group. In 2003, she graduated from St. Petersburg Academy of Civil Aviation, specialty: Air Passenger Service Organization and Management, area of specialization: Organization of Aviation Security.

Ms. Olga Anatolyevna Bezzabotnova, English teacher. In 1984, she graduated from Krasnoyarsk State Pedagogical Institute. Since 1984 until 1991 she taught Latin and English in Krasnoyarsk pharmaceutical college; since 1991 until 2001 she taught English in Krasnoyarsk school No 41 with profound study of English.

Since 2013, she has been a teacher of English for the ground services employees of Sochi International Airport. She has developed and implemented professional English training programs for the employees of Airport Medical Service, Passenger, Aviation Security, and Groundhandling services and Business English courses of different levels.

Ms. Xenia Olegovna Lyubova, a teacher. In 2013, she graduated from Ulyanovsk Higher Civil Aviation School (Institute) Federal State Unitary Higher Education Institution. Qualification: management of organization, area of specialization: air transport management.
